Badger Midget Auto Racing Association
It's a Doubleheader Weekend for the AFS Badger Midget Series
This weekend, starting on Saturday, June 21, the Advanced Fastening Supply Badger Midget Auto Racing Association will treat fans with two nights of wheel to wheel midget racing action.
It all starts with Sycamore Speedway (Sycamore, IL), a track Badger teams are very familiar with. As this event is in the northern range of Midget Auto Racing Association, Badger's sister series, it's anticipated some MARA regulars will join Badger for a fun night of racing.
Thanks to two rain outs, MARA has not raced since June 6 and won't be in action until July 3 with their sanctioning body. Thanks to a rain out in Badger, that club will have been off for nearly three weeks come Saturday. It's fair to say drivers are excited to get back on the track.
Sunday teams will be up early with race day maintenance as they head to historic Angell Park Speedway (Sun Prairie, WI) for the R.G. Huston Company Inc., "Kevins' Klassic."
The Huston Company has been a great friend to the club and speedway through the years. Kevin Doty and Kevin Olson, two popular Badger drivers will be remembered this night also.
